Does the Verizon logo flash when you plug it in? I had this same problem. Take the battery off. Plug the phone in. Observe the flashing logo. Put the battery back in. Observe "Charging..." screen. Power on. Unplug. Good to go.
Either the charger is not working or you got a bad plug inside the phone I would take this to a verizon dealer and have them try some things with it. If this phone has a contract to it I know verizon would repair or replace this phone.
you may have broke the spring it is fixable but it may cost a pretty penny if your not doin it yourself carefully take the phone apart there ar screw behind the battery and look just inside so if anythings broken if so take it to verizon so they can get you that part
Give this a try....place the phone in a zip lock bag with dry rice for a day or so to try to draw out any remaining water in the phone. If the phone still does not work, disassembly will need to be done.
the solution is that you have deleted all files off your phone. so you have to take it to the verizon place so that they can reset it or if it's bad enough you can go get a new phone!!
