It might have gone into safe mode but I would have expected safe mode to permit the vehicle only into low and reverse but your car might be different. Is the problem accompanied by dashboard lights staying on that did not stay on before. I would say that this is definitely one for a garage mechanic as , padricularly if dash lights are on, it would need diagnostic equopment to identify the problem
Sounds like needs resetting up.This would be the first thing to do. With the controls in neutral the carberetta should be open about 1mm. You can look down the opening without engine running to confirm this. Adjust throttle linkages so you have 1mm opening and then you can fine tune with trims.
Hi The ESC has the ability to have reverse locked out. This is necessary because race tracks require it. Go to the Traxxas web site and download the manual. Reprogram as necessary. Good luck
