Need remote control replacement for a KLH Rec/Amp kl2400

I have a very old but good working KLH stereo receiver/amplifier. The remote control has just stopped working. I've cleaned it and checked batteries but it will not control the amp. The amp still works manually, but adjusting sound by getting up and turning a knob is too nostalgic!! Is there any replacement remote for kl-2400?

Yes, it might not be the original one but there are
replacements available in your nearest electronic
supply stores.

I am connecting an amplifier to my VR-407 to accomodate more speakers I have installed throughout my home. Where do I connect the amplifier?

Connect the amplifier input to the VR-407 using the receiver's REC OUT jacks for the MD/TAPE input on the back panel. This is a fixed line-level output for recording, and will work fine for driving the additional amp.

I have a KLH SW-90 amp. When I plug in the RCA plugs I don't get any sound to the Satelight speakers. Is this a sub amp? Do I need to hook up the high input wires to make the satelight speakers work?

I have the same amp. there a two ways to use it: The phono plug inputs are low level, are for use as an amplifier only, and their only output is the subwoofer output. In this case, any stereo satellite speakers would be driven directly from your stereo amp.
The high level inputs are meant to be driven as the same as speakers from your stereo amp. A circuit inside samples the bass and directs it to the sub amp and output. this same circut passes unamplified outputs to the satellite outputs. PM me at [email protected] if you need further info.

Model KLH KL-2400 Reciever keeps popping fuses. Resistor in power input ckt is color coded YellowVioletYellow Gold for 470 Ohms 5% Tol. However this resistor reads 370 Ohms. Resistor needs replacement?...

470.000 ohms not 470 ohms 470k ohms at 5% tol. either the main p.s. diodes are shorted or the output and driver transtors are shorted causeing the fuse to blow....

I have a klh asw120 subwoofer annd a pioneer receiver. the hookups behind the receiver has one output and the subwfr has a l & r input. does this need a y splitter or is there a certain way to connect...

On the subwoofer's L&R input, you'll see a tiny "mono" next to the Left input. Hook up your receiver's single sub output to this jack and you're all set.

Add su bwoofer to KLH 200

the subwoofer i have, a polk, connects directly to the right and left speaker lines of the klh2400.
i then connect my stereo left and stereo right speakers to the subwoofer.
essentially, the subwoofer becomes a middle station between my speakers.
make sense?

Broken volume knob

I located the remote control for the unit and it works fine. As the unit is not the primary amplifier for the home stereo system, I use the remote to control the volume. Thank you for your quick responce, and I will keep you in mind for any future needs.

No sound from Sub.... from my Denon AVR-2700, not AVR-3300, Yeah its old!

if the subwoofer is on in the reciecer settings then maybe the amp is not getting the signal or the amp is not amplifying
try unplugging the output of the sub then turn off the reciever for a min. then turn it on wait , then plug the sub in
if that don't work then test the sub output with a stereo that has a audio input
also test the subwoofer with a audio output to it( only a positive and a negitive wire for sub)

Volume control

Well here goes a spelling problem for me. You need to replace a component called a podentiomiter. It is the actual volume control behind the knob. I have had to replace a few of these, and pioneer seems to to more prone to these problems.
