CANNOT PAIR NOKIA N95 TO MOTOROLA H500 HANDS FREE EARPIECE.....WHY

  • Anonymous Mar 16, 2008

I had the same proplem with my new N95, desperate to pair to my car kit but couldnt because there was no option to pair !!!!!!

Solution --- In the phone there are two ways to access Bluetooth.

    Option 1 - Settings-Connection-Bluetooth

Entering this way there is no further Paired Devices search option when you're meant to push right arrow to search for devices(as per manual)

Option 2 - Tools-Bluetooth and hey presto , press right and start pairing up.

The N95 has some backwards compatability problems. My new N95 will not pair with my Nokia CK-1W car kit but will with a later CK-7W although according to the Nokia website they both have the same "bluetooth" compatability!

Can i use my plantronics 230 bluetooth for my blackberry phone?

Hi, yes you can use plantronics 230 blue tooth for your blackberry phone. All you would need to do is to pair the device with your phone.that will do.

How to pair a phone to a blue tooth device?

Instructions

Pair Your Blackberry with a Blue-tooth Headset

Turn on Blue-tooth headset and Blackberry hand-held.

Enable the Blue-tooth radio by going to the options window and clicking on Blue-tooth. Click on Enable Blue-tooth in that window.

Add your Blue-tooth headset to your Blackberry by clicking on Add Device in the Blue-tooth window.

Find and select the name of your Blue-tooth headset from the list that appears. The Blackberry will search for all Blue-tooth devices within range, so other devices might show up on the list.

Click Activate Blue-tooth device if you receive a call and the Blue-tooth headset does not pick up automatically.

Use your Blue-tooth Headset with your Blackberry

Make sure the Blue-tooth radio on your Blackberry is turned on before you try to use your Blue-tooth headset.

Use the voice-dial feature to call contacts if your headset has that capability. Not all headsets support voice dialing, but more of the newer models do.

Press the on/off button on your headset to end a call or use the end button on the hand held.

Tips & Warnings

Pair your Blackberry with any Blue-tooth-enabled device using the same steps as those for connecting a Blue-tooth headset.

Remove your Blue-tooth headset from the list of paired devices on your Blackberry by selecting and clicking on Delete Device in the Bluetooth window.

Configure your Blackberry to connect to a paired Bluetooth headset without asking for authorization in the Bluetooth Device Properties window. That will allow your headset to automatically reconnect even if you take it out of range temporarily.

Only configure a Bluetooth headset to your Blackberry once. Once you configure the pairing between the two devices, the settings are saved and you do not have to repeat the processes each time you use it.

Turn off the Bluetooth radio on your Blackberry when not in use for security reasons.

Adjust volume on your headset or hand-held to a comfortable level. Excess volume from in-the-ear headsets can cause hearing damage.

I just bought a samsung soltice phone and I have a scala-600 bluetooth but I cant seem to get them to connect have any suggestions and I have used a bluetooth befor.

Hi,

It all depends. When you want to connect a blue tooth to a phone, You will need to switch on the blue tooth device and the phones blue tooth you are pairing with.

When pairing both device, you will ask for pairing code, You four digit numbers(default code(0000). and pair.

After pairing both device, you detected paired, you can now use the blue tooth device with your phone.

there are no special code for pairing Blue tooth device.
Normal codes used are any four digit, four numbers you want to use.(0000, 1234).

Take care.

What to do

If you are sure that the handsfree system in your truck is an IHF1000, then long pressing ( >2s ) the center "talk" button on the IHF1000 will put the system into pairing mode. Follow the instructions that are spoken from the kit - have your phone scan for handsfree devices then, find the IHF1000, select it, then enter "1234" for the passcode and complete the pairing.

Motorola handsfree kit

these kits are not very good and they are old, you are also unable to update software to work with new phones and the mic quality is poor.
go to your paired devices on your phones and change the hf850 to not connect automatically on both the phones, this may work.
If you can get a full refund and only pay the difference for a parrot it will be worth it. Also look at the THB Bury kit.

Camera phone bluetooth

-First you must "enable" your blue-tooth on your handset.

-Secondly you need to make set your blue-tooth feature to "always visible" (this setting is within your blue-tooth application).

-Third, you need to search for all available blue-tooth devices within your range.

If the kiosk shows as an one of the available devices, try to pair with it. (Note: If your blue-tooth feature prompts you for a pass-code, enter 0000.This also applies if the kiosk prompts for a pass-code.)

If you have followed all these guidelines and you are successfully paired with the kiosk, Congrats! At this point, you will need to send the kiosk all your current pics. Your blue-tooth should give you an option to send and what information your a restricted to send.

Hope this can be of any assistance. Thanks!

Nokia N95 Bluetooth

Almost there gizmo1. In fact one has to go through Connect, Bluetooth then you'll see two tabs. The selected tab has the basic bluetooth options (On/Off, Visibility, name etc) and the second tab shows the list of paired devices. Access this by pressing right.

Once in the list of paired devices Press OPTIONS (normally the left softkey) then "New paired devices". You'll then see what's around and you'll be able to initiate the pairing.

If you're simply looking to send an object, you can do this from the file manager or media library. In the media library select your picture or other object then once again through the left softkey (Options) you should see a "Send" option. Select that, the Nokia will then propose how you wish to send. Choose bluetooth. In the file manager it works in the same way.
