I can get the remote to work, using the manual scan, but it will only control volume, mute, power, channel numbers (Not the channel arrow button), and bring up the menu, but not scroll through the menu as the channel arrow button is required.
I called Sony, and they have nothing available to me for a code for this remote....just sol I guess...

Press SET and POWER button at the same time, press TV,press and release the CH+ button,then press and release the POWER button, each time you press CH+ and POWER button a code is entered. Keep trying until the TV goes Off. It may take 70 trys, when it does turn off press ENT.button to save code. hope this helps..
