The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper)
between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. The ice may have also stopped up this opening blocking the air flow.Make sure this fan is running. You may have to hold the door switch in for it
to run. There is a flap you adjust with
the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust
the fridge temp.
The problem could be the electronic control if
you have one or the mechanical linkages.
You may can find the vent if you remove whatever plastic cover there is at the top back in the freezer or fridge. The top is where you should feel the air in the fridge. With a model number I may can find a diagram that would help.
Part 3 on this diagram is the vent or damper control. It the other moving parts such as parts 4 and 5 are connected and not broken the control will be the problem. You may can move it manually to get the cold air flowing. http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdir...

hey woodchuck thanks for your advice. I cannot see a fan anywhere but i hear one in the freezer. I cannot feel any cold air circulating on the fridge side but things are still cool. I am worried about spoilage soon though. sounds like i may need to call in the troops.
