Nothing happens when you turn it on ... no indicator light, nothing ... do you have power to the device? is there power in the wall where you plug it in?
I think I would remove the cover and start looking for a fuse very near where the place where the cord comes in.
Unless you have technical abilities beyond the norm ... I wouldn't look much further. On the other hand, if you have a volt ohm meter, you could check for power at the switch and you could check the contacts of that switch. Is there a door or cover that has an interlock on it that may be ajar?
It would make sense that if you have power to the switch yet nothing happens when you turn it on ... there is a bad switch. If there is power on the other side of the switch when you turn it on ... start looking for another switch ... like a safety or interlock. I think there is a capacitor in that machine ... if you have power inside and nothing starts, the capacitor could be faulty. Dont fool with it unless you know what you are doing. It sill probably be a big silver can looking thing or it will be about the size of a TP tube roll and have a couple wires coming out of it.
Let me know what happens.
