change the date they are in process of fixing it the r4 cards dont recognise dates after the 14 april 2010 change the date by a few days i changed a yr and could not play saved games

Your bottom lcd is busted. It'll have to be replaced.



Look online for Nintendo DS bottom lcd replacements.. Fairly cheap

Sorta mine did that,and couple weeks after it changed color.then poof gone zip brocken. :)then they took it back. :)

This option is only suitable for out of warranty devices as opening it violates the warranty.

The bottom screens have 2 wrap wires, one big and visible, that is the screen cable, the other is small and not so obvious and this one is for the touch screen and you dont want to get it broken.

The cable connectors release the cable by lifting ot pulling the brown or black lock and be sure to remember how it was connected so you can know the right position of the cable when connected right not having any problem with loosen cables before you finish.

u need a new screen in the bottom, try to get a nintendo brand screen instead of an aftermarket.

Hi Mance, I can Repair this, but if you want to fix it yourself, you can get the parts you need from ebay. The Playstation Clinic repairs DS lites as well as other videop game systems.
