We really need your model number to help you properly. In the mean time you can check you sink connection and air gap for obstructions. Usually the cover just pulls up and off then you unscrew the cap to expose the drain tube for the dishwasher. More often than not if the unit fills and washes but leave soap on the dishes a clogged drain line is the problem. You may have to run something down the drain tube to clear it. Usually you will see the obstruction when you remove the cap. There is a remote possibility if it drains into a garbage disposal that food particles have clogged the drain outlet inside the garbage disposal. Hope this resolves your problems. Cheers!

Dish washer runs all cycles but no water entering dish washer

Make sure you check that the water is turned on to the dishwasher.
Check for a kinked or squished fill hose. If all else fails its most likely you need a new fill valve for your dish washer.

Does not seem to drain. Always leaves a couple of inches of dirty water. Also leaves a lot spots on dishes.

Check the float in the bottom of the washer. If it's stuck it could cause problems. Otherwise, maybe the pump that lifts the water up and out into the main drain isn't pumping properly.

MDB5100AWB-Dishes have acloudy film on them. The pump and arms seem to be working.

The problem is hard water. www.dishwasherfilter.com has a great new product out that will solve this problem once and for all. It filters the water entering your dishwasher and leaves your dishes looking amazing. They even have a money guarantee if you are not completely satisfied. Check it out. You will love it.

Our Maytag quiet series 200 does not clean or rinse dishes properly. It leaves film all over cups and dishes. Water also seems not to be draining out. It is 6 years old

It is not the dishwasher. The problem is hard water. There is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. It filters the water before it enters your dishwasher. It works amazing and has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look after the first load. It is also very affordable (like 70 bucks). Go to www.dishwasherfilter.com to find out more info.

Maytag Quiet Series 300 Not drying dishes at all

Hi brookeroy

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Your question is your Maytag is less than a year old in a new home. Your folks have a dishwasher either the same or similar and it dries the dishes and doesn't leave water on them. Our dishwasher leaves water on it like the dishwashers from when I was a kid. Lots of water and spots and have to basically prewash all my dishes. It there something I can do or should I try to find all the paperwork?

First try 'jetdry'. Then call for warranty repair. Your d/w should still be under warranty.

Dishes are not coming out fully clean

first if the pump is running and you can hear it washing it should clean now hot water cleans dishes not the washer the hotter the better at least 130-135 degrees modern dish washers use less water than older models so if you don't get the water as hot as you can stand it at the sink before you turn the washer on you can fill it with cold water second its important that you use jet dry and if your dishes aren't dry at the end of the cycle then on most washers you can turn the disp up for more hope that helps let me know
