So, long story short, a couple of weeks ago my juke accidently fell out of my pocket and onto the ground, where it was rained on for about 5 minutes, before I realized it was gone.
As soon as I realized this, I picked it up, dried it off, and when I got home, I sprayed some compressed air inside the scrolling wheel because it wasn't working (it would always go to the left, just constantly)
That and all the other outer scrolling buttons were fixed within a couple of days, just from drying off.
Now, the phone functions themselves still worked (calling, texting, lcd screen, basically everything), however, the center button on the scroller wouldn't work.
This was about a month after I got out of the warranty, of course.
Through experimentation, I realized that if I pressed the center button with more pressure than usual, it would work, and I resigned myself to just doing that everytime I had to hit the center button (and using different keys to select my option, rather than the center key all the time)
Now, just last night, I was deleting text messages, so I was pushing the center button in, hard, and the button got stuck, and I've been unable to use it or pull it out of its stuck position.
Is there any solution that would work, such as taking out the center button (and how to do so) or transferring that button's functions to another button, or just a simple way how to get it unstuck from its down position?
Thank you so much in advance!!!!!!!!
SOURCE: texts and call logs deletes themselves every couple minutes
if you have a lot of pictures/videos stored on your phone, or the memory is being used up in some other way, the phone will automatically delete texts and call logs because it doesn't have room. Try deleting some stored media. I had the same issue and this took care of it.
One of the major warnings Apple includes with all of its iPods is the permanent hearing damage that could occur if you have the volume on your iPod turned up too high.
To help combat the problem, the iPod comes with a feature that allows you to set a maximum volume level that your iPod can be played at that level is controlled by a combination that can keep others namely children from turning the volume up to dangerous levels.
The good news is, if that combination falls into the wrong hands, it can be reset.
Use your iPod's click wheel to scroll down to "Settings."
Press the center button located in the middle of the click wheel to select the settings menu.
Scroll down to "Playback" and press the center button to select it.
Scroll to "Volume Limit" and press the center button to select it.
Use the click wheel to scroll to the first number of the old combination and press the center button to select it.
Repeat this process for all four numbers of the old combination.
Use the click wheel to scroll to where you want the maximum volume to be set and press the center button.
Use the click wheel to scroll to "Lock" and press the center button.
Use the click wheel to enter the first number of the new combination when the message "Enter New Combination" appears on the screen repeat the process for the three remaining numbers.
Once the four numbers have been entered, your iPod's maximum volume will be set and your password will be changed.
hope this helps
