All songs in my centrale library are in duplicate, triplicate and in some cases have been quadrupled. Deleting them seems to take ages. Any ideas. It is Zen mosaic 4GB

It's not a hard work that you can have a try powerful program Leawo Tunes Cleaner. Leawo Tunes Cleaner is a professional duplicate music remover.
Step 1. Run Tunes Cleaner and Scan Duplicate Songs
After kicking off Leawo Tunes Cleaner for Windows, click the "Clean-up Duplicates" entry. The program provides 2 duplicates scanning modes: Quick Scan mode and Deep Scan mode. Select one of them to scan duplicate songs.

Step 2. Add Music Files for Duplicates Removing
You could delete duplicate songs in iTunes music library by directly clicking "Scan iTunes" button or click "Add"button to load music files for duplicates removing. Or you could directly drag music files from your local folder to the software for duplicates removing.

Step 3. Start Deleting Duplicates
After loading source music files, click the "Scan" button on the upper-right corner to start scanning duplicates. The program would display all duplicates clearly and suggest what to remove. You could decide which duplicates to delete by checking them and then click the "Remove" button to remove duplicate songs.

Well, i bought a creative zen nano MP3 player & once i had downloaded all my songs, a few months or so i wwanted to delete everything. so i did; but when i tried to add songs again it said i had no...

Are you connecting to your computer, opening the player and deleting them that way?
If so, try emptying the trash/recycle bin before unplugging.
The files are marked to be deleted, but are still there, that's how you can get them back out of trash.
This is not a problem on a disk drive with lots of space, but if it was full before deleting, there is still no spare space until you get rid of the files completely.

When they get full they will start deleting the older songs.
You are limited with the number of songs the device will store.

Deleted files

Audio files are songs. I hope you don't mean system files. If you deleted system files or folders, go to RCA's website and get the firmware upgrade - hopefully it will add those files back.

I can't delete the songs and the computer says my mp3 is "full"

You need to be in MSC mode to do deletion in My Computer; put in MSC mode in the settings menu under USB, then plug in, go to My Computer and open it as a drive, go to Music folder and delete by rightclicking on songs and choosing delete. You can also format the player by rightclicking on the drive letter of the sansa and choosing format. If you are deleting from a program like Rhapsody (ugh) or windows media player, you will get a lot of issues and not all will delete. Stick with My Computer in MSC. Also as a side note, make sure you have all file folders showing including hidden files in the tools menu in My Computer
