Konica Minolta Magicolor 2530 DL Laser Printer Logo

Trying to replace the empty black toner cartridge. I go through the steps to do this as outlined in the manaul. I get the screen that tells me "Please Wait." And I wait and wait and wait, and nothing happens. The printer does not make any mechanical sounds like the drum is being turned so I can extract the empty black toner cartridge. What's going on? I've went through the steps several times, and still get this issue. I've been waiting for more than a half hour for something to happen, and I get nothing.

Instead of following the directions as outlined in the manual, to have the printer turn the drum so I could extract the empty cartridge, I cut out a couple steps, by just reading the printers status display window. Followed the links that took me to where it said Replace Empty Toner Black, pressed the Menu Select button, and was given the OK to open the lid and door and replace the empty cartridge.

I have a richo MPC 2011 when I tried to pirn or copy black/White it comes out blank please I need help

If your Ricoh MPC 2011 is printing or copying blank pages when trying to print or copy in black and white, it is possible that the toner cartridge is either empty or defective. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the toner level: Check the toner level in the printer to ensure that it is not empty or low.
  2. Replace the toner cartridge: If the toner level is low, try replacing the toner cartridge with a new one to see if that resolves the issue.
  3. Clean the printer: Dust and debris can sometimes accumulate inside the printer, which can affect print quality. Try cleaning the printer to remove any dirt or debris that may be interfering with the printing process.
  4. Check the settings: Make sure that the printer settings are configured correctly for black and white printing.
If none of these steps work, it may be necessary to contact a printer technician for further assistance.

6 - Connect the printer to power and turn it on

7 - The toner cartridge carrier rotates and then stops. After confirming
the Insert Black Toner (K) message, open the front door.

8 - Hold the tape on the protective cover and gently pull it forward to
remove the cover from each cartridge slot. You only have to remove the
cover from each toner cartridge slot the first time you use your printer.
Toner will be present on the roller.

Installed new black toner but it still indicates it is empty and nothing will print!

Did you install a brand new cartridge? Or did you refill the old cartridge?
Ricoh has "smart chips" in the toner cartridges, and those tell the printer how much toner is used. If you refill the toner,the smart chip must BE REPLACED, the old chip will remain stuck at "empty".
Sucks, that Ricoh for you. That why that printer was $160 on Woot. LOL.
(Yea, I got suckered in too...)

Hi, My Dell 3100CN printer is displaying "Change Black Toner." I have replaced the toner cartridge. The printer begins to calibrate for a very long time. When it finally finished calibrating, it return to...

There is a chip in each toner cartridge which tells the main machine something about how full it is. It may be that it tells it how full it is, or it may be that it tells it how many pages it has done. It sounds as if the new black cartridge has a duff chip, and is telling the main machine that it is empty. To test this, you can overide the message. 1. press on the menu button;
2. select configure;
3. select maintenance;
4. select non-dell toner;
5. set the value to on.
If that does't work, get back to me.

Out of toner........ but not really.....

Print a Supplies Status page to see the actual pages printed...

To print the Supplies Status page from the printer, on the printer control panel, select
Reports Menu, Supplies Status, and then Print Supplies Status page.

If the page count from the Supplies Status page indicates that the toner should not be in need of replacement then you have a bad cartridge. Actually, the cartridge is probably fine but the chip on the cartridge has got a problem. Return the cartridge to O.D. and get another one. Unfortunately, chips that don't work properly in not all that unusual so HP has a pretty easy return policy.

Hope this helps.

Refill Toner Cartridge for Laser Printer

Nobody has a clue how to refill a laser cartridge with ink. :)))

OK< just kidding, here it is:

First of all, laser-cartridges have toner (a fine black powder) and not ink.
Second: There are 2 methods to refill a laser cartridge: dismounting it to get to the toner chamber (involves a lot of tehnical skill) or the melt-and-pour method (see here http://www.urefilltoner.co.uk/), but you need the melting device.

But because from your question i see you dont know a thing about refilling, better go to a refill center.
