Best Buy won't fix things that are covered under manufacturer's warranty. To fix this, you need to find the manufacturer of your portable DVD player and contact their warranty department.
This information is in the instruction manual that came with the portable DVD player.
If you have lost the warranty information, Disney may be able to provide it.
Hi
The Disney Princess DVD player is manufactured by the Starlight Randix Corporation
I will appreciate your feedback and positive rating for this free solution.
Thank you.
I don't know what BOLT is, as I fixed my last DVD player 6 years ago at Sony. I think the Disney Format is Newer than your DVD player can read.
I remember Sony had a $5000.00 when new DVD player that was the first generation of DVD's. We would get them in for repair and the guy would say "My Radio Shack $99.00 plays all my DVD's but this $5K FIVE YEAR OLD unit won't play them....
There was NO fix for the problem. The New DVD's were beyond the capability of the 5 year old unit.
SO.. Is the Disney DVD a Blue Ray Disk? Or a new format that your older DVD can't read?
We had the same issue. Try clicking <play>1234<play> and it should unlockk the dvd in the machine. Seems to work on my daughters. It's a parental control of come sort. HTH.
Manual is of no help anyway!! or I wouldn't be here. But maybe Best buy can help. They have these players and if this doesn't help me...that's where I am going!!
Isn't the 1 amp fuse too small? Usually 12 volt operated electronics require a higher amperage fuse. Check with the adaptirs owners manual first before changing again.
