The pressure dies about two seconds after to hit

Is this something new happening?

These machines quickly (a matter of seconds) build up to pressure and shut off. A slow leak is not much of a player. Eventually the pressure will bleed off and the pump come on (for a few seconds).

Pressure restored, should be good to go. Have you cleaned the inline filter to the hose. If there is a short burst of water then a dribble with a new hose, the filter is a first check

Nailers will double fire or at times, the driver will hit two nails with one stroke. The first issue is caused by sensitive trigger or worn orings and the second problem is caused by faulty nails (too close together in strip ) or the driver is bent slightly allowing the driver to strike the head of the second nail in line. One way to prevent double fire is to use the single trip trigger (usually white plastic). With this trigger, you must lift the gun off the work, release the trigger and press the gun against the work and pull the trigger. If you are using the black bump fire trigger and it double fires, replace the trigger valve. The issue of the driver blade hitting two nails with one stroke can be solved by examining the driver blale for damage. The blade should have a taper on the side that faces the nails. This taper is there so that as the driver hits the first nail the taper will gently push the rest of the nails slightly into the rails out of the way. If generic nails are used, make sure that the nails are designed with the proper spacing and angle. Easy test. With the gun on its side, place a strip of nails on top of the rails with the heads aligned with the angle of the rails. Move the strip of nails so that the first nail is in the path of the driver and the heads are still aligned with the rails. The first nail should align perfectly with the angle and path of the driver. If the head of first nail is in the path of the driver however the shaft of the nail is angled toward the rails, the driver blade may hit two nails. If the point of the first nail is in the path of the driver and the head is angled back toward the rails, you may have miss fire. If the nails are perfectly aligned with the rails and the path of the driver and the driver is hitting the second nail, grind more taper at the bottom inch of the driver. Good luck

This part should be available from the manufacture, have you check their website. It is normal when you turn the water on for a small string of water to come out the gun when you press the trigger even when the engine is not running.

Disconnect hoses.
Look for kink in water hose.
Check incoming water connection for filter washer
Replace filter washer
If you don't have a filter washer, put one in.
Hook up water, and turn on
Water should come out other side of pump.
Turn on machine.
Do you get pressured water out of pump.
If no pressure, then pump is suspect
Hook up washer hose without gun
Does pressure come out of washer hose
Finally, the gun trigger may be bad.

A nail gun works on compressed air.
When you hook the air hose to the gun it fills a cylinder with air pressure.
When you pull the trigger. the cylinder pressure is released onto a firing pin that shoots the nail.
The air pressure line is also connected to the trigger and therefore the trigger has to be sealed.

When ever using a nail gun, you add a bit of gun oil in the back of the gun (not 3-in-1motor oil, it has to be non-detergent gun oil)

If you haven't used the gun in a while, it is best to oil up the gun and let the oil run down into the gun.
If you use anything but gun oil, the seals will give out.

Your trigger seal has given out. It is probably an 'O' ring. You can access it by taking it apart. Look for the O ring.
Bostich makes re-build kits for the different guns that you can buy on-line.
Back when I was in construction, there were several nail gun shops that sold and serviced nail guns, and sold nails to the contractors. I don't know if that business model is still active or if you have to send the guns to Bostich service center.

This issue is caused by defective unloader or debris trapped in spray nozzle or faulty gun. Easy to check. Check system with-out spray nozzle. The engine should not labor at all when you depress trigger without nozzle. If it labors/ dies faulty gun, if no labor, install new or clean nozzle (check for correct gpm for machine) and retest. If ok, you are done, if engine labors or dies, reduce pressure by turning pressure knob as required. If reducing pressure has no effect, most likely faulty unloader. Good luck

It sounds like the air pressure on your compressor is too high..lower it and see if your gun shoots better.

I am afraid that is how they work even electric ones wont start unless you squeeze the trigger ,once they are running you should be ablr to release the trigger , and then squeeze it again whilst running . if yours dies when you release the trgger while motor is running -----good chance you are working at too high pressure. but to start you have to release all the internal pressure

Sounds like the governor is stuck. My pressure washer speeds up when it has to pump. Don't know if yours uses vacuum to trigger governor or direct linkage. Good Luck.
