I have a samsung yh-925 20gig mps player but no disk where can i download the software im using windows xp thxs

    I tried to copy and paste but it says something about the path not running deep enough or something like that. Is there some way to get past that or will I need to install the program?

    when i try turning on the mp3 it says initial fail the device can not initialize HDD

    please connect to adaptor and try again

    so i connect it with the adaptor and nothing happends.my computer does read it .

Just plug it in ur usb port and copy and paste files from ur pc to mp3 player know need for disk paul

Can't download music from Napster to YH-920
Move all the files to the windows media player. So the songs are listed in the media player. Then connect the device and use the sync option in the media player. There may also be a sync option in napster but I think the windows media player would work better.

No more working with windows Vista
As far as I know there is only XP drivers on their website, Your gonna have to shout at samsung I'm afraid ... But you can try the updated XP drivers in vista ... I know it sounds odd but I had a samsung yepp player once that worked in windows 98 but not XP ... And when I changed OS again it DID work in vista! ... Strange!

Software for adding to my player some music and films
I don't know if there's a software available right now, but that's not a shoe stopper.You can still be able to copy musics or any other file from/to your player to/from a Computer using it as an external drive; for that you have to chenge the settings from Charge to removable disk on menu/settings/system/PC connect mode.

Formating player
Go to Samsung's support site. You can download the manuals and software from there, normally however the YH-925 is managed through Windows Media Player (excuse my language ;-), with the player plugged in you should be able to select it from the left-hand side to get it's management console. It's been some time since I was last forced to suffer Windows so things may have changed, download the manual(s) and if needed the software from the link above for full, plain-English instructions.

Using Windows Media Player 11 or Real Player 10.5 to Transfer Music
make sure to use the applet in the system tray (bottom right corner) that when left clicked, opens a list of available usb devices to stop before disconnecting.
