However, any third party software that was on the disc will not be available. (The OEM copy of PaperPort SE with OCR was on the CD for Windows systems.) You'll need the original disc or to replace the software with the full version if you use it. (You would need OmniPage to replace PaperPort SE with OCR. PaperPort and PaperPort Pro do not include OCR capabilities.) There are other programs that do this as well.

The only real way to make this printer wireless, is to connect its ethernet port to a wireless router and via the router, send jobs to the printer wirelessly. hope this helps. Cost is about $60-$70 for the router.
Hello,
Run the Brother Control Center. Click Device settings. Click where it says Inklevel.
A simpler way is Start-->All Programs-->Brother--> ...-->Status Monitor.
An icon will lodge itself on the tray (a printer). When icon is clicked on, the inklevels will show.
