Here is a sample of the percentage calculations that the calculator can perform. You will not see among them the conversion from decimals to percentages. To convert from decimals to percents move the decimal mark 2 places to the right and append the % sign. To convert from percents to decimals, move the decimal mark 2 places to the left.
Change the display mode. Press SHIFT MODE 6 then the number of desired digits after the decimal point. Alternatively, press SHIFT MODE 8 and select one of the "Norm" modes. This is all in the "Specifying the Number of Display Digits" section on page E-8 of the manual.
When you select FIX (by pressing [SHIFT][MODE][6] ) on your calculator
you can specify number of decimal places which are displayed (you can
choose any number from 0 to 9).
Press SHIFT then MODE. You can then press 6 to select Fix, followed by the desired number of digits after the decimal point, or press 8 and select one of the two Norm modes.
Full details are on pages E-5 and E-6 of the manual. If you need a manual, you can download it at http://support.casio.com/pdf/004/fx-83_85GT_PLUS_E.pdf

Hi, You need to change the display format. Press the [MODE] key a certain number of times until the screen displays Fix, Sci, Norm on one line, and 1 2 3 on the next line, with 1 under Fix, 2 under Sci and 3 under Norm.
Press 1 (Fix) followed by a number (1,2,3, etc.) This second number will set the number of decimal digits. In other words, if you press 1 (Fix) 3 all your results will have 3 decimal digits. If you choose 0, your results will not show decimals.
