How do I keep it heating. Shuts off after 8 hrs. That’s as long as the remote lets you program it for. Would like to have it heating all night

The 8-hour limitation is probably a safety design to keep your heater from overheating. Get another heater with a longer program capability, or plugin a second heater when the first one shuts down.

Find the dip switches inside the remote and switch the #1 switch on for one second then back off. Your panel should blink for 8 hours. Equalizing is not required for gel cell. If your battery array falls below 8 vt the system shuts off. Remove the 12 vt load (turn every thing off) during this procedure as higher than normal voltage is applied to the batteries. Also they will be giving off more than normal hydrogen gas during this process.

Hi, this is your programmable thermostat not being programmed right. If you have the manual, set your times and temperatures for both heating and cooling to cool or heat at the times you want it to. I am not sure where you are, and if you want to use just heat or cool, but you can set it to run on just one or the other, or to auto change over. Just be sure to run it in the auto mode. I can't tell you how to over the net as there are so many models of thermostats, but if no manual, you may be able to get one by getting the model number off your stat and name, go to a place that sells that stat and they can tell or show you how to set it up. It has to reset everything.then try remote,when it starts to work,set new pin code.use your instruction book,to set all blocks to N,,Clear all favorite channels + erase channels in tv 's memory if there in there yet,takes a lot of time.it will keep resetting,remote won't work.let it run awhile. then push exit, hold 5 to 10 seconds remote will eventually come back,check your settings reset them, be sure menu is set to STOP, it may start running threw all its modes again,let run couple hrs, then push exit 5 to 10 seconds to get your remote back.keep trying this. when you think the tv is working right,turn it off for 10 seconds then back on. If it starts resetting, let it run an hr,then push exit again to get your remote back,it has to reset everything,keep trying, took me 3DAYS to get it right!!!!!!!!! the only thing I don't have working is the pic size button,Don't need that anyway. you need to program your remote control. take the battaries out. and maually turn the tv on. then hit the source you want to view. for example, I want to control the tv set. I push, code search and hold it then push the source button and then release the source button and then release the code search button. now, aim at the tv and then keep pressing power button till it goes off. when the tv is off, hit return or set or something like that.( every remote has different calling for it but still the same function) it should work. try it and let me know.
