Incoming call problems

When i receive a phone call ill answer but i cant hear the other person but they say they can hear me when we meet up

Could be that it's just a software hickup: press menu and on/off button togetherfor 5 sec. If it's the same after the restart you need a new earspeaker. You can also use a headset, if it works with the headset, you definitely need a new earspeaker.There is a step by step guide too that explains a little bit at eachsteps what you have to do : iPhone speaker repair. You can buy the touch screens online too. There are also iphone repair companies that do it for you.

Hi,


There could be two problems:
1) Speaker is not working
2) You used Jailbreak or unlocking software to install third party software and games. If so it currupter the firmware.


Solution for 1). Take the phone to mobile repair shop, do not try to operate at home

Solution for 2). Just connect to ITUNES and update the firmware to latest one.

Make sure to backup all your contacts ans message before doing and operation.

You cant run 2 bluetooth devices over one mic. That is with exception to a cell phone that has a music player built in that has an auto mute function for incoming calls. Check the stereo for an auto/mute feature for inbound calls. If you see nothing in the manual for that feature then that stereo just doesnt allow it. If so it will show you how to turn it on. His other option is to buy a bluetooth ear mic just for his cell phone.

I can't hear the other person's voice in incoming calls to my cellphone.
Maysie, This is a Speaker problem (hardware problem), show some official repairer to change or fix it, but temporary you can use headphone or Bluetooth to communicate by your device. Best of Luck.

If you cannot hear the phone ringing then you may have set it to meeting or silence option without changing the volume level. If you can hear the phone ring but not the person on the otherside then you may have muted the call. Check your phone settings

That means the speaker for the ear is damaged and needs to be/replaced/repaired. Most devices come with a one year manufacturer's warranty. If unsure about the purchase date check with your carrier.

I can make and receive calls, but I cannot hear anything.
Check Windows Sound mixer for application volume. Down in system tray at right side of taskbar double click sound icon for XP or click sound icon once and click Mixer for Vista. Look through volume settings for your phone application. Make sure it is not muted and volume is up.
