It should unlock once the temperature has dropped to a safe level. If its still locked after that time, I would say the safety lock has failed to release and will need replacing. I think it will need accessing through the top to manually release the door latch mechanism.
If it does, replace the latch assembly. If it continues to display "unlock door", the electronic oven control will need to be replaced. Note: The range will not go into ...

Thank you for your inquiry, friend!
From the information you have provided you need assistance unlocking your Frigidaire oven. Performing a reset on your oven can trigger the door latch to unlock, in order to reset your oven you would need to disconnect power from it for roughly ten minutes. If this does not unlock your oven you can also hold down the clear or cancel button for 10 to 15 seconds. You can also attempt to perform a self-clean cycle and before the cycle starts cancel it and that can trick your oven into unlocking. If these troubleshooting steps do not help resolve your issue please feel free to reconnect. I would be happy to provide you further assistance. -Matt
The oven gets extremely hot during the self-cleaning mode... the door switch might have got stuck in locked position, or broken in locked position (to be replaced), let's hope it's just stuck...which you'll need to work the mechanical lock-unlock latching back and forth to hopefully unstick....and if that doesn't work just re-run self-cleaning process but this time let the oven cool completely before unlocking the door. Hope this helps.
It's likely that the door switch has failed, or stuck in the depressed position from grease or your oven cleaner spray solution. To correct this problem, remove the door switch and inspect with a multimeter for continuity connection.
In order to unlock the oven you need to perform the following: Look for a manual lever to unlock the oven. If there is one, it will probably swing back and forth horizontally, just below the upper edge of the oven door. Swing the locking lever, if one is present, all the way to the left. This should unlock the oven. If there is no manual lever to unlock the oven, it may be unlocked using push-button controls. Check to see if the oven is in a self-cleaning cycle, or has just completed a self-cleaning cycle. If so, the door will unlock automatically once the oven has finished the cleaning cycle and cooled completely, which may take several hours. You cannot unlock the oven before it has cooled. Unlock the "Clean/Off" button. Depending on the brand and model of your oven, the button may display both of these designations or just one. If your oven door is locked, but the oven is not warm and is not in a cleaning cycle, unlock it by pressing and holding the "Clean/Off" button.
