Kipor kge3500ti starts up OK, will not produce power. I checked the fuse, its OK. I suspect the invertor? They are quite exspensive, more than what the unit is worth right now.

Is this one of the units that has a ribbon cable ( looks alot like an IDE hard drive cable) that connects all the components together? It also has a squre plastic fan that protrudes slightly from the rear (by about a 16th of an inch)? If so, it's the power module which consists of 2 boards (along the fan housing). You can probably find replacements for about $70, but I wouldn't bother. They quit making new replacements several years ago and any board you get now is just a pull from old stck units.... and they fail about 2 minutes after you put them in. Pioneer knows this but still sells the defective parts.

did that to mine. Bat went dead and went to jump the car. What happends is when you attach the jumper cables, it surges the power to the amp. This gets worse with caps. I would say you blew the relay in the amp and needs to be replaced. It is worth fixin but youll have to send it off or take it to a repair shop to have the new relay put in

Ther is a small batery looks like large watch battery or computer battery inside unit.
sumtimes thay are soldiderd in place.
you should change it with new one.
this will fix your problem.
