Replace shower head and see if the clog is located at the head.
Next suspect is the shower valve.

SOURCE: Very loww water pressure when taking a shower,

It could be debris in the cartridge at the tap itself. Whther 2 cartidges or 1 , it wouldn't be uncommon for those to clog up as well, and it really doesn't take much to cause a decrease in flow. Turn water off to tap(s) and remove handles, then cartridges in behind with proper socket or wrench and inspect for debris inside hole cartridge came out of, as well as the cartridge.

SOURCE: The shower is dripping water

Depending on the model of the valve, it can be as simple as replacing a cartridge, for example in the case of a Moen, or on a Delta replacing the seats and springs, and possibly the control ball. So what kind of valve is it and then I can give you a better idea?

SOURCE: Have a shower only no tub. replaced both the hot

Take the shower head off and see if the pressure is better or the same. If it is the same then you will need too look up-stream for blockage in the water lines. If it is better then replace or clean out the holes in the shower head. It may also have a filter screen before the shower head.

Testimonial: "I wasn't sure if that was the problem since I had just recently put a new shower head on, but it was the problem. Thank you for your help. "

I think fitting of your shower is not proper. You have to fit it properly if you can or you can call a nearest Plumber to solve your problem.

Leaking shower head

Not unless you had a backward plumber , If the diverter at the faucet is open for tub, then no water will go up the shower, The shower may hold enough water up there to make it look like a drip, Even if the valve was leaking all the time, it would not go up, it would come out the faucet. It only works with pressure. Unless the valve was plumbed wrong,,, Hope this helps.

Dripping shower head

If it is dripping from the connection where it goes to the water spout you can unscrew the connection and wrap teflon tape or Pipe Joint Compound on the Threads. Now you can Thread the Shower Head Back on, with No Leak. IF..... It is leaking from the Shower Head Itself There May Be a Problem with the diverter handle/lever. If it has a Pull Type Lever, sometimes you can screw the Lever up or down for the proper water restriction to the Shower Head. However if the Hot and Cold Handle/Lever is OFF, There should not be any Water coming out from anywhere! If water is coming out off the Tub Spout, with the Shower Off, then you will have to replace some washers or Cartridges in the faucet(s) to stop the dripping. You can do this easily....Just Ask) Remember though, that some shower Heads may Drip for a Few Minutes After they are Turned off. There is still water in the Supply neck and needs to escape, either though the tub Spout or Shower Head.......Hope this Solution Helps you with your Drips.....Joe
