Typical ZTR mower logic; If brake ON and both arms not out then kill engine.
It's likely the brake switch.
Check and test the brake safety switch. i have had several with that problem.

Do you have a volt meter or a 12 volt test light?..if you do you can see where you are losing your voltage at..but i would suspect the PTO switch is bad..i hope this has helped.....Keith

its likely to be a switch playing you up try hard wireing the switch to see if it stops this cutting out first, do one switch at a time till you fine the one playing up

it should be under the seat . u can try to test in by just getting up and down of mower while at a stand still and blades are running. when u get up blades should stop .
