I purchased an Acer TV model AT3201W in 2006. I now have a split screen - left flitters and the right side is scrambled. Sound is OK. Sometimes if I leave it on for say 1 hour, it will correct itself then other times it will not. I live in the Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada area and I can not find a repair person. Can you help me?? this model is no longer available in market anymore.and therefore no branded new parts available. but my friend told that price of screen grew up last days,at least more than 40$.as my idea is you better try on new model.you can find screen from your electronic goods dealer and i recommonded buy new model.you may repair this,but in future,parts may not available of all.before you buy new one,think twice is this model suitable for future,and how many years. My new TV LCD Samsung LC32C530 Series 5 has one half darker and with less contrast than the other.This is noticeable now always. There is a distinct and clear division down exactly half the display which separates the dark and light sides.. Any ideas?Thank you.
