SOURCE: Procom fireplaces

Empire makes a wall heater that is direct-vent that looks similar to vent- free wall heaters. Here is a link to a website that sells their products... http://www.mastersalesonline.com/empire/index.html. I am not sure of the prices you will need to call the on-line store. I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: I have a ProCom FBN400TYLA vent free natural gas

Found the manual on line and copied directly from it:
WARNING
Models FBN400 are equipped for Natural
gas. Field conversion is not
permitted.
Models FBL400 are equipped for Propane
gas. Field conversion is not permitted

This should answer your question.
See if you can run the gas line or find someone to do it cheaper for you.

I have a procom ventless fireplace heater and the pilot light will not stay lit

Sounds lie you need to replace the bimetallic strip by the pilot light. If that is bad the main gas nor the pilot will stay on.

How do I resync my ProCom remote with my ProCom Vent Free Fireplace? I have an older model, SSU320RHL-GB.

I ran into this same problem yesterday while I was trying to get my used unit up and functioning.

If you don't switch from pilot to off and wait about a minute before turning it to the "electric" mode, the remote will NOT light the unit.

Procom pilot light wont light

Make sure the gas valve is on. The thermocouple may need to be cleaned in order for the pilot to stay lit.

Where can i find a downloadable user guide, and a service manual for this model..also im tryig to find the right regulator for this model..does anyone know where i can find it??thanks!!

Here's a link to the Procom Owner's Manual website. However, the Model Number you listed doe not sound like a Procom Model #.

http://www.worldmkting.com/owners_manuals.htm

Also, all vent-free heaters, fireplaces, gas log sets, etc come with the regulator built-in. Are you trying to replace one you think doesn't work? Or are you trying to convert it from one gas type to another?

If it's the latter, there is no conversion approved for vent-free gas appliances. Plus, if you could, it would take more than just the regulator to do it. Totally unsafe to do.. Please don't attempt it.
