Not too difficult. On the back on the far left are two phono sockets marked CD, you can simply get some decent RCA to RCA leads and connect them via that.
Some CD players have either an RF lead or digital output socket. Suitable leads can be connected to the digital in sockets on the Marantz.

If you are not using the 12v trigger between pre-amp and power amp make sure that the trigger switch on the rear of the RB-1070 is set to off

SOURCE: p-301 onkyo pre-amp

Hi juicer, If you use the switched outlet, then everything will be turned on/off when you operate the preamp power switch. Use the unswitched, then you have to turn off each unit separately. You choose which one you want. It wont matter.

What connection do you intend to use to connect the LBT zx6 to the Onkyo preamp??

Switch your blue wires around.

You have put the remote antenna wire to the remote turn on of the amplifier. The radio cuts off the power to the "power antenna" when you switch to a different mode... so your amplifier is now losing the turn on signal it requires to stay on.

Simple 2 minute fix.

If there are red and white RCA jacks on the back of the BR player and on the receiver you should be able to get sound. The same as your VHS.

SOURCE: Remote not working on Marantz 63cd. Tried

check the back of your marantz player, some old marantz products have a buttom at the back saying system or intermal, if it is on the system side, the remote will never works.

How to hook up a phono to Sony DHC-MD555?

You will need to hook up your turntable to a pre-amplifier. You can then hook the pre amp to the video inputs on the back of your MD555. You can purchase a pre amp on ebay for around $15

How to hook a carver TFM 45 to a Marantz AV 8003 pre amp with Bose 901 speakers thank you very much

The output of the Marantz will go to the input of the Carver. The Bose EQ has to go into a Tape Monitor on the Marantz, or, you can connect the Marantz output to the Bose line in(not tape in). The line output of the Bose, to the Carver input.

Is there anything else I'm missing?

Getting no sound hooked up to pre-amp and 2 rotel 200w amps with snell speakers

You didn't say whether the player is connected by 2 RCA cables (analog) or by digital cable. If by RCA, does the player have a headphone jack? I had a player once with a piece of a headphone that broke off inside the jack, muting the analog outputs.

Hi -

Sony CD player Red / White RCA - > CD input RCAs on the Arcam.

From the Arcam Preamp Output RCA's, go to the Bose "Input". From the Bose "Output", you need RCA splitters to make them into four outputs to run your amplifier connections.clmrt5000_2.jpgclmrt5000_3.jpg

Hello, I am wondering if I really need a preamp to connect a turntable, or if I can use any of the SR6004's analog inputs? Also, if I do need a preamp, which inputs on the AVR should I use? Two reviews...

Having looked at the manual it makes no mention of connecting a record player. So I think we can assume that there is no built in pre-amp for a magnetic cartridge. So you will need a pre-amp for that. You can use any RCA sockets on the device that are Left and Right audio in. A tape or CD player one will do the job, as long as they are analogue inputs.

CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO CONNECT A SET OF SPEAKERS TO THE CD PLAYER PLEASE? WOULD I HAVE TO USE AN AMPLIFIER THEN TO SPEAKERS AND HOW WOULD I COME FROM THE MARANTZ CD PLAYER ? THANKS -GRAHAM

You will have to use an amplifier to power the speakers from the cd player, the output on the CD player isn't enough. You will need to hook the CD player to the amplifier using the red and white wires, on the CD hook them to the OUT and on the amp hook them to the CD or Aux or Tape in. Then select that input on the amp and enjoy the music.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue.
