I have the HTC PPC-6800. Cant read .jar & .jad files
I have the HTC PPC-6800. Win6.1. I am trying to install Opera Mini5, but it cant read .jar or .jad. My XP pc has java 6 installed and cant read them either.
Re: I have the HTC PPC-6800. Cant read .jar & .jad...
Opera mini 5 is a tricky thing, I suggest trying the Opera Mobile 10 Beta, its much cleaner and installs with a simple .cab file that windows mobile understands. http://my.opera.com/operamobile/blog/opera-mobile-10-beta-for-windows-mobile-phones

Open this LINK, and download the Opera Mini from there. You'll see two green download links "opera-mini-latest-advanced-en-us.jad" and "opera-mini-latest-advanced-en-us.jar", both of them should work. If one of them is not compatible, try with the other. The first one is ".jad" file and the other is ".jar" file.
http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/JADMaker-Download-8344.html SECOND STEP FOLLOW THESE STEPS ALSO IN SOME SAMSUNG MOBILES FIRST YOU HAVE TO TYPE THIS CODE *#9998*5282# then
choose install midlet put to code 235282 then from the files chose the
file to install mostly it is .jad file to be installed thankx
Note: Toinstall a program to your Samsung s8000 jet, you should have both .Jar and .Jadfile.
Tomake .JAD file from .JAR, you need a JAD Maker.exe file (Google it from net)then run it.
Tomake the .Jad file, drag the .Jar to the JADMAker Screen. You have .Jar in thesame folder as .Jar file.
