It looks like I can't get power to the tv?

You probably have a bad Power Supply. There are usually 1 or 2 fuses on the P.S. board. You can check them with a cheap ohmmeter (make sure the TV is unplugged first!). If they are bad, you have a bad Power Supply. Don't bother replacing the fuses without finding out what caused them to blow, or else they will just blow again. Take the set to a qualified technician.

The power safety fuse was blown. I replaced it but everytime I plug the TV, it blows the fuse. It is a Sony projection HDTV

When fuse blows again and again that means power supply is bad and needs to be replaced.
Let me know exact model of your Sony TV to provide you power supply board part number info.

Proscan lcd tv model 26lb30h blows fuse on power board

If the fuse blows again after replacing it, there's a shorted diode, bridge rectifier, capacitor or transistor in the power supply.
I repair these power supplies. If you need furhter assistance, write to [email protected]

HP-R5052 reboot

It's definitely an overheating problem if your plasma turns off by itself after a while. I would suggest to place a cooling fan near the back of it as a temporary fix.
There could be a power supply issue along with a Ysustainer board but in order to know that for sure, you should use a hair drier and blow hot air to the power supply and see if the TV turns off, if the time that the tv turns off is shorter when blowing hot air to the power supply; then is the power supply issue.
Good Luck.
