Have a Frigidaire gas cook stove model #fgf316asa. Top burners work, broiler works, oven will not heat and after being on for awhile I can smell gas?

sl, because it't happening to both broil and bake the first thing I would suspect is the temperature probe. You should ohm it out. You can do this either at the board or at the harness connection in back. For the board, remove the back panel, there should be a 8 pin connector to the left of 3 relays. On the harness measure the resistance of the wires going to pins 1 and 2. On the shemantic it shows them being the 2 on the bottom. Should read around 1100 ohms at room temp. If you cant get a good reading on it there, Remove the probe from the inside oven, remove the screws and pull it out until the harness connector comes through, disconnect it and ohm it out from there. I don't think that both ignitors would fail at the same time so Im leaning toward the probe. Catriver.

yep replace the bottom ignightor take out the rackes remove the two bott screws in the oven remove the bottom plate and just keep going down

The f-5 code on the frigidaire ranges is a bad one. It is a ERC (electronic range control) failure. The repair manuals state to replace the control when the f-5 code shows up. You can also try to reset the control. To do this flip the breaker to kill the power, wait about 20 minutes then turn the power back on. If the problem returns then you will need a new ERC.
