We will need more info to help you. What chair, make, model, how did it start not working, would be good info to include.

SOURCE: My Golden Technologies Comforter Series

With Golden Technologies chairs, there is a self diagnostic system. There are LED lights at the transformer and the hand control. If you do have have lights at the transformer, it may be a power issue or a bad transformer. If you have lights at the transformer but not the hand control, it is the hand control. Since you state you ahve lights on the hand control, it is probably a motor issue.

The best thing you can do is call the store which sold you the chair or call Golden directly at 1-800-624-6374. While they do not sell directly to the public, they can point you to a local dealer who can help with the repair.

There is various generic gas lift help here in the link, but this is a cheap chair made in China. It retails as bulk supply at $59 and retails at $170. Strip it down and rebuild it.

My HHC MOTOR actuator is stuck in the up position. Recliner goes up, heat and massage work. Model LMD6205(385-190) 12vdc 3.2A output 50w. Serial number 1702090293. Please advise. Thank you in advance.

Well it _sounds_ like the actuator has failed, but that is a big chunk of money to spend on a guess. Contact the maker.

What does E69 mean on a Lazy Boy Lift Chair?

You need to install 2 9v batteries. Once you attach, unplug the chair and plug back in. The code will disappear.

Liftcair won! tgo back to recline

Hi
I have found this site for you, You should be able to search for your chair. Once you have found your chair it should also bring up the manual option. Maybe the manual will be of help.

My Golden Technologies Comforter Series recliner/lift chair won't recline or lift. The buttons light up but nothing happens.

Can I or how can if possible return the Pride Lift Chair to normal seating position manually.Thank [email protected]

The easiest way to do this is to tip the chair forward so that the top of the chair and the arms are on the floor. The weight of the chair will be off the lift frame in this position. Look at the motor and you will see it connected to the frame with 2 hitch pins.
It is easiest to remove the top hitch pin which will now be on the bottom because the chair is upside down. Pull the clip (looks like half of a paper clip) from the pin that goes through the square chair frame and motor round tube. Pull out the pin by lifting the bottom of the motor slightly(now at the top because the chair is upside down)with your left hand and pulling the pin out with your right hand. Find the two nylon washers that have fallen out when you do this.
Swing the motor tube out of the way toward the front of the chair. Hold on to the pin, clip, and 2 nylon washers for re-assembly. Hope this helps.

Pride Lift Chair

Yes, jump, short, somehow bypass the switch and see if the chair moves. In 4 of 5 cases, I have had to replace the switch. Its the only part I carry with for "spares". Its an easy fix, and a lot cheaper than replacingt the whole hand control.
