Mistubishi WS-55511 won't stay on

I have a Mitssubishi WS-55511. I tried holding the menu and device buttons down as suggested. Instead of 2blinks pause 2blinks, I got 2blinks pause 3blinks. Does anyone have a diagnosis for this problem

I turned the TV off and on then ran the test again. The code is 2 blinks, then three 3 blinks.
    Thanks for the help.

IF code is 2 blinks, then three blinks it is error code : deflection circuit problem---it can mean a problem either in the horizontal or Vertical circuits--most likely it will not be fixed in your home-----set detects no deflection and shuts down instantly for protection of the picture tubes and or the TV power supply.

unplug set and plug it back in. Turn it on and when it shuts off do the self check again--it should repeat the SAME error code about 10 times. if it is 2,pause and 2 I can tell you what the problem most likely is. SD TECH

Mitsubishi Model WS 55511 was made in March of 2003. I turn it on and it goes right back off again. On the front of this TV I only have an Enter button, a menu button. an A/V Reset Button and a Device...

Device is the same as input--try the self check, when power light goes off press and hold it and menu at same time for five seconds and release.

Device means input.

Let me know error code and I will help you more than anyone else.

Tv won't stay on

You need to replace one STK393-110 and 2 or more 5amp pico fuses. Very common problem.

Powers on for three seconds then goes off

The first thing to do is to try to determine why the set is not turning on. It is equipped with a self diagnostic feature. On the front of the set push the MENU and DEVICE button at the same time and hold until the LED starts flashing a two sequence code. That will narrow things down for us.

Tv wont respond because device menu is changing through each device

I had a similar problem: my WS-55511 would not respond to the remote and the front control buttons (with the exception of Power) cycled through the Device Menu. I solved this problem by disconnecting the front panel. Here's how to do it: 0. Unplug the TV
1. Remove the speaker grill from the front by pulling forward: there are no screws. 2. Disconnect the two cables that are exposed after the grill is removed. 3. Plug the TV back in, wait for 5 minutes to reset. 4. Try using the remote.  Hope this helps!

Press in together the menu button and the Device/input button on the set and hold them both in together for 5 seconds and see if the led will blink a two digit error code, then respond to this same post and let me know if it gave a error code and what the two digits were.
