I have a Phillips CL034 Universal Remote. When

Turn the TV on,press and hold the CODE SEARCH button until the light comes on, release, press TV button, the light will blink and stay on, enter the code,the light will go off, press POWER button, the TV should go off, if not repeat the steps using a different code until you get the one that works your TV. ..hope this helps..

this should work:

SETTING CODES
HOLD THE CODE SEARCH BUTTON DOWN UNTIL THE RED LIGHT STAYS LIT.

PRESS THE DEVICE BUTTON (ie TV)

CHANNEL UP BUTTON UNTIL THE CHANNEL CHANGES. (300 SHOULD BE MAXIMUM)

PRESS THE MUTE BUTTON TO SET THE CODE

Go to http://www.urc.philips.com/. The Magnavox CL034 is under another name, US2-PM435, the Phillips version. Drop down menu to left of screen.Pick United States URC models. Then pick My remote is...US2-PM435. These codes really work and being the official samsung site they have many more than one recieves with the remote at time of purchase. Also note that the CL034 is the Magnavox remote (it does not have Phillips insignia)

hey i tried this and it worked. hold code search till the light stays lit(it may take a couple of secs ) then after its lit press tv and then keep pressing channel up or down till the channel on your tv changes when does press mute to save the code. also the power button will work to during code search , but i use channel because if you accidentally skip your code you can go back the other way. you might need to take out the batteries then re-insert to reset any previous codes. hope this works for you guys as well.
