I just received a pair of motorola s9 bluetooth headphones i ordered on ebay. they are supposed to be new but will not accept a charge. I plug it in and the red light turns on for about 5 seconds then turns off. I let it sit for about 30 minutes with no change. the manual said the light should stay on when it is charging. the device will not power up when I unplug it.
I had the same problem but instead of a red light it would flash green twice and stay off. I could not find the original charger and another plug in charger would not work. I plugged it into my computer with a usb cable and after several seconds it started charging.
Are you using the Motorola brand charger or some off brand? I guess there is a chip in the Motorola brand charger that communicates w/ the headset, some better brands of chargers will work, but no-name cheapo chargers prolly don't have the chip & won't charge the device. That's been my experience with the headset.
I have the same problem. I tried the 2 solutions above, unfortunately it did not work. I read that the baatery inside is a lithium battery, NON REPLACABLE by the user. I search now for a repair centre, perhaps they will be able to fix it.
Mine flash gene twice then nothing, tried 3 chargers and USB from computer but still nothing. I bought them as new old stock, any one any ideas?....please!?
Mine was doing the two green flash too. I plugged it into a computer USB port and it stopped and started charging. You might try that.
Mine had the same two greenflash problem.I plugged the S9 into a USB port on my computer and it started charging normally. You might try that.
