SOURCE: ink in hp photosmart 3310

Hi,
the printer should have software installed enabling you to opt, for a printer-ink cartridge change.
If the cartridge has a chip fitted, it may be discharged.
The chip is supposed to be charged up, for the printer to recognise the newly installed cartridge.
view your settings in control panel/printer/properties to see what options you have available.

SOURCE: ink empty-not!

You may have to reinsert the new cartridges, making sure to follow the machine prompts and press the up arrow key or 1 or + for each color cartridge you install. (See directions here. and here) Make sure the lock levers click when you insert the cartridge.
If you continue to have problems, see other support pages for your printer here and here.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

SOURCE: my epson rx595 keeps saying replace ink cartridges

This is the only advice I can give you.

The next step would be to disassemble the Epson, and clean the Pads/Heads. Click on link below.:
http://www.hm2k.com/posts/parts-inside-your-printer-are-at-the-end-of-their-service-life

I located a page on http://www.fixyourownprinter.com forum, which had plenty of details about similar issues.

If you find this helpful, pls rate me.

Thanks and Good Luck :0)

SOURCE: I have replaced ink cartridge that was low but it

Press the left arrow and the setup button together..
You will find Support Menu.. press the arrow key to come to Prit test menu.. click ok on that ..
now, press the arrow button to choose Nozzle test..

even after that if it continues to show the error, and if you are not able to print anything from the computer..
You may try by doing a L2 uninstall and then reinstall ..

SAVIN C7570 BLACK INK PRINTS FADED (INCONSISTENT)

Hi Linda
Is this ink or toner? Ink will expire if it is on a shelf too long. Toner is a powder that is applied with heat to the paper. It does not expire but will appear faded if the printer is in economy mode or low on toner. on a 4 drum system each drum is independent of the others and can run low or out at separate times. Therefor to save money only replace the empty drums. Have you changed the drum recently? If it is toner try removing it and shaking it, then reinsert it. If you have other boxes of this drum see if you can find a date on the box. ink over three years old may not work well.

My lanier is making dark copies

One of the most common reasons for a Lanier 5222 or 5227 to make dark copies is a problem with the drum unit or developer. Fortunately on those machines, the drum unit and developer are all self-contained in one easily-replacable unit, called the PCU (photoconductor).

If you don't have a new PCU handy, you can order one from the same company you get your toner from. The PCU should generally be replaced every 60,000 copies, but sometimes it may need to be replaced sooner (especially if you run a lot of dark copies or make a lot of copies of images) and it can often run longer than 60,000.

Replacing the PCU is easy -- it sits right next to the toner bottle, and all you have to do is slide the old PCU out and slide the new PCU in (once you remove all of the tape and other trappings from it). Instructions will be included in the box with the new PCU.

Please rate the effectiveness of this solution. Thank you!

HP 2840, black ink drum q3964a

Hello, these printers tend to be finicky.

In other words, just replace the black toner. When the printer says its low, or empty, regardless of wether or not it is, just replace it.

Replacing the drum, when it says black toner needs to be replaced will do nothing to rectify the issue.

Buy only HP Toner and Drum cartridges for this printer. Do not try to refill toner cartridges, and do not reset drum. You will only end up destroying your printer in the process.

Epson STYLUS CX3900 All-In-One... Problem:

check in the printer driver properties to see which cart isn't recognising, usually it is a faulty or empty cartridge but can also be a faulty logic board or ink cartige board especially if ink has been spilled inside machine.
I have seen faulty brand new cartridges out of the box.
if another known good cartridge doesn't fix it take it in for service.
