I have lost the user guide for my printer and I need to use the printer. It works as a photocopier but I am unable to switch it to print as there is no printer button.

Most of the time the light bar is not the problem when it comes to print quality issues. Those are typically ink cartridge or printhead issues. Try printing a self test page and compare.

Please make sure that you have installed necessary drivers for your printer. If you have not installed any drivers, then you download the driver by visiting the link below and selecting your computer operating system.

what happened to the cd which came along with the printer? lost it or is it ot supported for win 98? anyways you wot get the drivers from the internet. you may have to upgrade your pc to win xp, so that you will get the drivers for the same.
