GE 29869GE2 Digital Answering Machine I lost the manual and can't figure out how to record an outgoing message. Mine was lost during a power outage. Help!

Can I access the GE 29869GE2 Digital Messaging System remotely and change the outgoing message?
Do you know the access code?

If so, it appears from the manual that you can. I would upload the manual (if it's not on the FixYa site) but the FixYa server will not let me. You can find it on the GE website under the links for Consumer Electronics.

Outgoing greeting
Press and hold down the "greeting A" button. You will be instructed as to when to start your message. When you are done recording, release the button. To hear your recorded greeting, press the "greeting A" button again.
