SOURCE: i need a wiring diagram for a kobalt 60 gallon air compressor

If it's a 220 volt motor, hook l1 and l2 (220 volts) to the line terminals. If it's a'dual voltage' motor (120 or 220)and you want to use 120, hook 120 to the terminals marked 'line'. Make sure the motor is connected for the voltage you're using if it's dual voltage.

SOURCE: problems with kobalt air compressor 26 gal. simply

Check and reset motor thermal overload (red button) on motor, also check circuit breaker for your power supply. other than that the pressure switch is what stars and stops the motor, and depending on your level of knowledge you will need to check continuity through the pressure switch with a ohm meter.

Or maybe someone has played with the Regulator and adjusted it to this????

Try readjusting the regulator first and if that doesn't work, get a new regulator.

Hi; can i do a motor k56a28b23 230v work with 120v?

Some motors will work with 120 volt or
240 volt

You have to remove the small cover on the
end of the motor & see if there is a diagram,
where you move the wires for different voltages

How do I wire my 60 gal 3 hp IR commpressor? What size wire, what size breakers, and where on the motor do I attach my wires. Motor says 15 amp, 220 volt. Thanks, Clint

I would use a # 10 wire size with a 30 amp breaker. The motor should already wired to the pressure switch unless it has a mag starter. If no mag starter incoming power should go to pressure switch not motor. If unit has a mag starter incoming power should go to top of mag starter.

Im not sure if iv;e got this straightYou had a 242running on 120 v driven by 5 hp dayton motor You have a new 80 gal tank with a bad 7.5 v motor and want to put the 5 v motor on it What was the size of the old tank if it was 60 or more you should be ok the 5 hp will have to work harder as long as you can make it fit you may want to consider droping down the blow out valve presssre spec 10 to 15 lbs depending on the size of the old tank

blk/red are your two 120 volt lines the white is your neutral, if this is a 120/240volt combination motor make sure you change the wiring in the motor configuration to make it 240volt from 120volt
