I have a Savin 9950DP and it reads an error of SC323. Any idea?

When reading the thermistor, grasp the sensing part between thumb and forefinger, if reading drops quickly the thermistor is probably goid, if so , unfortunately you may need a power supply board

Drum motor bound or defective

The error code is from the image density sensor, it may be dirty or not able to read the drum surface correctly. If it hasn't been serviced in a while a preventive maintenance will be needed. What is the meter reading on the unit at this time? Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, I've never seen this error, so I can't give you much help beyond what the code means and the possible solutions that the service manual provides...

SC820:
Self diagnostic error: CPU - Unexpected external error or interrupt occurred.
• Controller board defective
• Software defective

The manual indicates this is a "C" type code, so this should not be displayed on the OP panel, only logged in the SC history in the machine.

That error is for the shift tray motor in your finisher where the copies come out. The tray should move from side to side when you switch the machine off and on. It sounds as if it is binding for some reason.

yes a 672 is an address book error. do you have scanner feature on this machine?. it may be bad. you may need a tech to come remove the option. turn the machine on and use it as a copier. then reinstall the option and see if the error returns. it could be a static build up or the option is bad.

You did not provide the model number, but "SC323" always relates to either a bad LD unit, or BICU board. You'll need technical service.

On fax settings set ECM to ON, JBIG to OFF, MAX BAUD RATE to 14.4, V34 to OFF then upgrade to latest firmware and make sure phone line is a 2-line phone line (look plug end of line and there should only be 2 metal strips on connector)
