Question about Yamaha Office Equipment & Supplies

1 Answer

I have a Yamaha rx-v1900 receiver. I cannot power it on with remote or the power buttons in the front panel!

I have to disconnect the power cord and after that it starts usually after a 10 min brake. I have tried with a another power cord, but that is not the fault. Everything works like normal until I press off on remote, after that I cant power on the receiver again!

SOURCE: how do I link mt remote (rx-v1900)with my tv

OK. So did it come with instructions? If not, it is a rip-off. I suggest you contact your retailer in that case.

I Have an Yamaha RX-V1300. Is there anything I can to allow it to pass thru 3D video signal?

No. You'll have to connect the video to your TV and then pass the audio to the receiver. 3-D pass-thru was only added to some audio receivers with HDMI outputs in about 2010. The Yamaha RX-V1300 was released at least 7 years earlier. Video monitors/TVs with 3D display were virtually unknown when this model was released. You can find the specifications for this receiver here: http://usa.yamaha.com/products/audio-visual/hifi-components/stereo-receivers/rx-v1300_black__u/ (click on the Specs tab).

I wish that I had better news for you.

How do I reset my yamaha receiver RX V463

Disconnect power cord to your receiver and wait about 3 to 5 minutes before do this step

If you can find on the back side of your receiver use to have a small button recess hidden behind the back cover, use a small paper clip push this this button.
Another way if you can not find the button, disconnect the power cord about 15 minutes may reset all your programs in receiver memory.

How much is a FM/AM tuner replacement part for a yamaha RX-V1900. My connection are broken on current unit.

If you mean the where the aerial goes in, it will be much cheaper to replace that, then buy any board, even if they are still made.
Have a look in Maplins (uk) or Radio Shack (USA) to see if you spot something like it. It will just need soldering on!

HDMI out jack physically broken on my rx-v1900. Fixable?

An audio repair shop should be able to get a replacement connector and swap it for you. I doubt that the part is available from Yamaha (and it would be pricy if it was). The connector shouldbe available generically. Digikey or Mouser should be a good source.

Yamaha Rx-v365 trying to program remote for

Press and hold "DTV" then, while holding doen DTV, press power and hold for three seconds. Release both buttons and enter your code. The front panel of the receiver will say "remote setup ok" or "NG" (no good) That being said; while you are in the process of finger acrobatics! make sure your remote is pointing in the general direction of the receiver. Yes, it's a pain, however, once your done, the Yamaha remote is a champ! Hope this helps.

Hi where can i downlowd a manual for the rx-v1900

I would start at the www.yamaha.com web site's support page. Find a Support page, and then look for Downloads. Be prepared to enter specific info about your device, like model number, serial number, etc.
If that fails, enter something like: yamaha rx-v1900 user manual in Google and you should see many different references to it. Spend a few minutes browsing the most likely places by reading the headings.
Good luck!
