SOURCE: cd stuck inside laptop

There is a small hole, usually near the eject button. Unbend a paper clip and carefully push the paper clip into the hole, try to keep it straight. drive should pop right out.

SOURCE: 2004 Jetta CD Player Won't Read CD's

I had the same problem when I first got it.  I realized that the problem was the CD I was putting in.  The CD player will NOT read burned RW CDs.  I hope that helps!  But it will read burned R CDs and ones from the store.

SOURCE: CD player Error 3

dear,
I have different experiance with the C.Dplayer ( error 3 ) , there is no need to remove it nor send it to the dealer ,all you have to do when you have `` Error 3 `` is to reset the C.D player , by recycling the power supply ,this can be done by disconnecting the main car battery power supply , you must also keep the battery disconnected for at least one hour . then connect the cables to the batteries ,when you start the C.D player you will hear some clicking sound ,and watch the numbers of the C.D`s in the display you will find all what is inside has been detected by the display .
and your C.D player is back to normal..

i discovered ths by chance , when I had this error in the past ,coincidently I had to replace the battery and after installing the new batteries ,i was suprised to see the player back to normal condition by its self.

My CD player stopped working in my 2003 Cadillac Deville. Whenever I load a CD it just says error?

hi Walter.
this could be a couple o things wrong here.
might need just a clean up.
  1. Confirm there is no CD in the player. ...
  2. Blow away dust with a handheld air bulb. ...
  3. Remove the lens cover. ...
  4. Select a lint-free cleaner. ...
  5. Wipe a small amount of high-strength isopropyl alcohol onto the lens. ...
  6. Let dry before replacing the cover. ...
  7. Try a lens cleaner disc.
  8. Sometimes a CD player will display a "No Disc" error. What this means is that the CD player, for some reason, does not recognize the disc. There are various reasons for this error, from the CD lens eye being dirty to a CD format that is incompatible with theplayer. Troubleshoot through process of elimination.31 Mar 2015

i know yours is in a car but the principle is the same.or should be.

Eject and load error

Most common cause for this is dirty lens, try a cleaner disk, possibly the one with liquid cleaner.
If this does not work , providing that the engine is spinning you may need to replace the lens inside

Put disc in player spins it, and says ERROR and

Hello,

how long have you been using this player? The problem should be from the lens (laser).

The lens is weak and that's why it cannot read/load Cd's. The weak lens is also what's making it say error and no disc.

Get a lens cleaner and use it to clean the lens, but if the lens still does the same thing even after using the lens cleaner, then it means you would have to change the whole lens completely to a brand new one.

By so doing your player would play all Cd's with no problem at all.

Good luck.

CD player in my 2004 Dodge Stratus doesn't work

are they Burned or copied CD's? CDR, CDRW? cause if they are some radios will not read them and give error messages. if not try using a lazer lens cleaner CD, they sell them at most music stores, you may have lint or dust on the CD lens with summer weather, and pollen in the air and dust, CD player lenses take a beating, so get a WET lazer lens CD cleaner, and that should help fix the problem

Jvc kd-sx770 car stereo--radio works, but cd player doesn't

Hello beeswing70,

The player is recognizing that a CD has been inserted but is not able to read it.

Sometimes the lens assembly becomes contaminated and obscures the laser. I'd try using a commercial "lens cleaning CD" two or three times and then try a CD again. These lens cleaning CD's are widely available. If cleaning does not help, the player need professional service.

Hope this helps.
