How do i put video in my Jensen SMPV-2GBUB unit?

When i plug my Jensen SMPV-2GBUB unit to my pc, the pc recognizes it as "drive I" but when i put audio and video files on, it only recognizes the audio files and not the video ones. Moreover, how do i segregate putting only audio files under the 'music' category and only video files under the 'movies' category, do i need to have some sort of software to do this? When I purchased this item, it was only second hand and there was no CD software provided to me, should there be one? Please grant me a solution to my problem, it would really really be appreciated. Thank you.

Some MP3 players can only play certain types of video files. The type of video files that you are putting on your player may not be readable by the player. The specs show the player can read MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, APE. Check the file type of the movie you are putting on it and see if it is any of these types...if not then that is the problem. Here is a link to the download page and it looks like there is software for your player.

Jensen smpv 4gbs

Teneale,

I tlooks as if possibly you might have a defective unit. I did some research and you wouldn't be the only one. Either that or maybe try a diffrent USB port, maybe even a usb to wall outlet charger....see if that works. If not I would say its defective.

Why does my mp3 have a white screen

Remove any additional items in MP3. Such as micro memory stick and restart. Corrupt memory sticks cause this error. Also you could leave MP3 on and let power drain. Then recharge

How do you convert video to amv

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine the type of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI and WMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is an incompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to a format that your MP3 player uses. After video conversion then copy the video files to your MP3 player using the USB cable from your computer. I just bought a Jensen smpv-2gbub player. How do

How to charge the Jensen MP3 player - Model smpg-v2bub

Ignore instructions that came with it - they don't work.

Here's how to charge - I discovered this with mine:
1. When computer is on and at windows screen, attach cable from computer to mp3player with mp3 turned player off. It will immediately show you a connect screen on the mp3 player.

2. pressed the left side middle button twice - this will turn it on and go into music like you're playing a song.

3. Now turn the mp3 player on by switching the button on the right side of the device to the on position. It will suddenly show you it's charging - the battery on the front of the mp3 player will have a signal pulsing through it.

4. It will turn off after one minute. It's literally half charged now. Strange I know. Repeat from step 1 and it will fully charged.

If it doesn't fully charge after it turns itself off after 1 minute the 2nd time, then repeat steps from 1, one more time, but this time when it turns itself off after a minute, still leave it connected to the computer for 10 mins even though it looks like it's off. Then disconnect it physically from computer, turn it on with the on button on the right side, press the left side middle button twice and look at the battery on the screen - it should be fully charged now.

How do i download music into my jensen smpv-2gbub, it wont transfer the music file to the mp3

Hello,

Downloading music for the SMPV-2GBUB is explained in the manual on
page 11 (=10) and 12 (=11) of this file:
http://www.spectraintl.com/jn/pdf/SMPV-2GBUB%20English%20UM.pdf

1. Use a powered USB connection directly to the computer (not through a hub) .
2. Avoid data loss, after media transfer. Safely remove hardware in the lower right corner:
