SOURCE: Different language, help!

The icon to change language is three flags, and looks like this:

b454667.gif

It should be located within the Preferences (wrench) which can be accessed from the main menu.

SOURCE: changing the language

Turn on your machine. The SET tab is the fifth from the left (or second from the right). Touch that.
You now need to touch the More button, which is on the bottom row and is the button on the left hand side (there are two buttons at the bottom - More and OK).
On the next page that comes up, the LANGUAGE select button is the single orange button at the bottom of the list. The two buttons at the very bottom are once again More and OK, so go above them to the single orange button. Each time you press this, the language changes. There are quite a lot to scroll through, but keep pushing it until English comes up again.
That should fix your machine for you. No suggestions on how to fix your husband, though!

SOURCE: how do i change language?

Press the Menu button. Select Setup (the wrench icon, or else the last item). Select Language (either the waving flag icon, or else "xxx/Language" where xxx is Language in whatever language is currently selected. No matter the language, it should still say "Language" in English after the slash. In that menu, each language is labeled in that language, so you should see "English" as one of the options. Select that, and everything should be back in English.

Examine your keyboard for any build-up of dust, dirt, liquids or other particles that could be causing the keys to type the wrong characters. Allow any loose dirt to fall out by inverting and shaking the keyboard lightly.
Confirm that your keyboard is set to the English language. Go to your control panel and click on the "Regional and Language Options" icon. If the setting appears to be in a foreign language, change it to English/U.S.

To start MSKEY in Windows Vista, select "All Programs>>Accessories>>Run" from the Start menu. Type "mskey" in the box and depress the "OK" button. Start MSKEY In Windows XP by clicking on "Run" from the Start menu. Type "mskey" in the Open box, then hit "OK." Depress either "PS/2" or "USB" to apply it to your type of keyboard hookup. How can i develope a new application environment?

For a beginning programmer, you should start with a programming language such as Visual Basic which lets you place controls onto a workspace and then program for each control. Most programs can be programmed in many languages, and the more powerful the programming language, the more complicated and longer it will take to learn. Microsoft programs are actually programmed in their own proprietary language, however the most popular these days would be the C programming language. There are a few variations of this including C++ and C# (pronounced "See Prime"). There are many resources for beginning programmers if you wish to learn on your own, or you can attend your local community college to learn programming a classroom setting.
