The cable you need is a USB to mini usb which is what most devices use. You probably already have one for your camera. The software is pretty cool, you'll enjoy it. Download pics, create your own ring tones, etc.

I can't transfer anything from my motorola l6i to my pc.
you can download Motorola Phonetools 5.05 from Rapidshare or other sites.. The driver is available for free just search the internet for Motorola L6i USB driver
