SOURCE: Philips Model TV HDMI connectivity issues.

There is a newer software version that actually points out issues with certain DVD players connected. Go to the following page that I have supplied a link for. The file to download as well as instructions and explanation of updated files is on there. Please follow the instructions VERY CAREFULLY. Please take a moment to rat my answer. Thanks...

try to force resolution below 1080p to interlaced, or 720 and see what happens..you may have a bad logic board

SOURCE: I have a philips dvd player model BDP2900/F7. I have taken the top off to clean the lens. I am having trouble finding the lens.

Use a lens cleaner disk available from most stores like Walmart.

Remote code codes

This may help if you have a remote control from a pay-tv company.

Here's what Philips says (web link below):

Where can I find the remote codes for my Philips device?
Remote control manufactures all use different codes. We do not have list of the codes that are used for the Philips devices. The remote control manufacture will have the codes for your device. If you do not have a remote from a cable/satellite provider please contact the manufacturer of the remote you are using. If you are using the remote provided by a cable/satellite company please reference the list below.

Links to the major cable/satellite provider's remote control support pages including Comcast, Charter , Cox, Time Warner, DirectTV and so on.
