Check circuit breaker inside of power nozzle shell.
Bypass it temporarily to see if motor will run without circuit breaker wired in.
If motor runs without it, it's a faulty circuit breaker (expensive to replace) ..... if motor still does not run, even with the circuit breaker bypassed, then replace the motor.
How do I bypass the breaker to chk the motor?
To bypass breaker, (TURN POWER OFF FIRST): pull off the 2 electrical wires that are clipped onto the breaker's contacts, and wire those together (TEMPORARY!!! for a breaker test only) .... If the unit runs that way, then the breaker is bad or is stuck. (did you try the breaker reset button before all this?)
Also check for a loose plug fitting where the power nozzle cord connects to the main vacuum's power nozzle cord socket.

If all connections are good and taking power, this simply means that you need a new motor.
Good luck

Hi there it's SmartAlec from NelsonVacuums.com.au here. It will either be the fuse or the motor itself. If you disconnect the wires from the fuse and join them together and it works you will know it is the fuse that needs replacing. If it does not work then it is the motor itself. Depending how competant you are you can dismantle the motor itself and check the brushes. Other than that it needs a complete new motor. If you are in australia you can contact me on 0269215200 and i can supply anything you need as i am a rainbow agent. Hope this helps - happy vacuuming :)
