A friend of my daughters assembled but it was damaged in transit, and amazon want it returned to send replacement
They are not made to come apart. If you do try and remove the end, it will most likely break and be useless. If you need the end removed, I would consider cutting it off. At least you would have reasonable lines when finished.

Disassemble can mean many things. If you just want to cut the top off, or cut it to pieces, then use a sawsall or something similar.
