Maytag toploader I have floodsafe flexible lines for water input. When I run both hot and cold (warm) water the flow is fine and cycle will finish. However when I isolate the lines either hot or cold the water will run for about 30 seconds and then shut off. I know it runs at a steady 40 psi, so I don't think it is a pressure issue. I have check the resistance and voltage for the inlet valve and it is fine. Should I just buy some regular lines. I have used these floodsafe hoses for the past 5 months. Anybody experience this problem or have any input?

If i want to run just cold then only the cold line will be used, which is why i posted this problem. The same with if I was to just want hot water, the hot water line would be used. When warm water is selected both the hot and cold lines run together because there isn't a seperate line for warm water, the two are just combined. Using both lines produces the warm temperature and is the only time my washer will finish its cycle. When either the hot water or cold water is used seperately (isolated) I experience the issue of the lines cutting out.

How do i repair bellera #r560vs kitchen faucet reduced/low cold water flow have installed newfaucet valve

Turn off the hot & cold water supply lines at the shut-off valves.

Yo need to use the correct replacement cartridge for the faucet you are fixing

The cartridge replacement procedure requires using food grade silicone lubricant around the base of the new cartridge and around the threads of the bonnet.

Then you must properly align the 2 bumps on the bottom of the cartridge with the inside body of the faucet.

Insert and tighten down the bonnet that holds the cartridge in place to where it is snug- do not over tighten the bonnet!

Then reinstall the trim piece and lever.

Slowly, fully open the hot and cold water shut-offs and check for leaks at the shut offs, sink handle, and spout.

If you are using the Watts brand floodsafe supply lines, turn the hot and cold water shut-offs, on slowly. Rapid flow and pressure may activate the floodsafe valve within the supply line, causing little to no water flow to the faucet.

Mah 6700 is stopping after 1 minute with a reading of NF

Did you check the screens in the watervalve when you removed the supply hoses? They can crud up over time and restrict the flow. Clean them in-place with a toothbrush and spray bottle. Reconnect hoses and test. While testing move temp switch from HOT to COLD to WARM settings and observe flow of water and temp of water in each position. Cold may flow a little faster than HOT but should be close to same flow rate. WARM however should have twice the flow rate of hot and cold temps seperately. Let me know what you find.

Maytag MAV6200 will not washer on cold water cycle. Could this be a problem with the push button switch? Washes on all other cycles. However, the warm water is very hot, not warm.

Your cold water inlet valve has more than likely fialed.or.... the inlet screen is completely clogged. First turn off the water to your unit both hot and cold water lines. Then select the wash cycle w
ith hot water only and listen for a hum from the inlet water valve. Then select cold and see if you hear a similar hum. If you do not hear a likewise hum then the cold water solenoid on the water valve has failed and will need to be replaced. (Sometimes this requires the entire water valve be replaced due to the design of the assy) If you hear a similar hum then remove the hoses from the water valve and check for a clogged inlet screen just inside the water hose attachment fitting. If you can not tell if it is clogged remove the screen and hold it up to the light. You should be able to see light through the screen. If it is clogged scrub and wash the screen under running water. It is prety easy to tell if you have it clean. Once you finish reinstall the screen in the water inlet valve, reconnect the hoses and turn on the water. Good luck.

No hot water

Make sure your hot water supply valve is on first. If so then try reversing the hot and cold water feed lines and see if you get hot water when asking for cold. The water valve for the hot water side could be bad. Are you familiar with a voltage meter or know someone that can see if you valve coil is getting 120V when the machine is trying to fill with hot water. If not the control unit is faulty. If you do have the 120Vac on the solinoid coil and no water the either the coil is open circuit(bad) or the inlet is plugged. Most generally the problem is in the control knob unit.

No hot water for a Maytag topload washer

Turn the water off and disconnect the hot wat hose from the spigot and the machine. There should be a screen filter in one end. Check to see if the screen is clogged. If it is then replace it. If not then replace the water valve

No hot water entering

1. Make sure water comes out of the hot water hose into a bucket.
2. Check to make sure the solenoid valve is working. The buzzing is the 60Hz on the coil and can make a lot of noise if valve does not operate properly. Try blowing into the hot water port. If the solenoid is functioning properly air will move freely, if not its stuck.
