If it was working when you replaced the bearing go back in and make sure you have all the plugs on
is there somewhere i can get a pic of the correct position of the plugs for the door control? it is the only one i disconnected. i marked everything but one plug has more than one possible placement you can move it one pin up or down. one direction nothing at all happens when you plug it in, the other the error code comes up
Look online and the model number should pull up the wires
ok i got the wire in correctly, now when you turn the washer on it chimes but there is no lights or anything

That error code is for the main control console and the repair is replace that part. It costs almost 300 USD

if your machine is under 5 years old ...the machine is under warranty for parts only and is covered by hotpoint they will charge you for callout/ labour charge only..you need your date of purchase proof or go by the manufacturing date code inside the door the first two digits of eight.... this month is 73 so deduct the first two digits from that number eg if the digits were say 43 take that from 73 hence 30 months old from production my guess is the machine is pehaps 2 years old typicall failing for that model... .for you to buy the parts and do it yourself major stripdown! will cost you the same as their (hotpoints charge) so i would call them hope this helps

The F06 is a drive motor tachometer failure which means the motor control is not able to see the motor is running. This can be a difficult problem to pin down, but there are some things you can do yourself if you like. Check the connections between the motor control and motor. Also check connections on the central control are all tight. Push on all of the connections and see if there is any improvement. The images below will help with access on some Maytag front load washers.
