If you have all the cables it is no secret how they go in. They are either different in length or they will have different connectors on them so you do not make a mistake. Connectors and wires in these things are not too different- If a 5 pin ribbon cable can plug in both connectors and the length of the cable seem right then that is it. I have worked on many of those system and they are not made to last nor be repaired. When you do work on them they usually have multiple problems. That is why it is better to have separate components.

You can buy protection mats for your pet playpen without having to replace the whole thing.
