PolkFR1 soundbar wont power on - Audio Players & Recorders

To reset your Onn Soundbar model 100069413, you can try the following steps:

1. Using the remote control:

• Press and hold the "Volume Down" button and the "Source" button on the remote control simultaneously for about 5 seconds.
• The soundbar should turn off and back on, indicating that it has been reset to its default settings.

1. Without using the remote control:

• Unplug the power cord from the soundbar and wait for about 30 seconds.
• While the power cord is unplugged, press and hold the "Power" button on the soundbar for about 5 seconds.
• Reconnect the power cord to the soundbar and turn it on.

If these steps do not work, you may need to refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

Well I don't particularly care for Haynes manuals, but my FSM's did not have anything either. I found this in thejeep cherokee haynes manual and it says that it is for 97 and later models but see if it is close. it looks like there are 2 harnesses so I will list them seperately:

Hartness 1:
[7] Left Soundbar Speaker (+) BR/YL
[8] Left Soundbar Speaker (-) BR/LB
[5] Left Front Door Spkr (+) DG
[1] Left Front Door Spkr (-) BR/RD
[9] Right Soundbar Speaker (+) DB/WT
[3] Right Soundbar Speaker (-) DB/OR

[4] Power Amp Relay Feed DG/RD

Harness 2:
[05] Right Soundbar Spkr (+) TN/RD
[13] Right Soundbar Spkr (-) TN/BK
[06] Left Soundbar Spkr (+) WT/TN
[14] Left Soundbar Spkr (-) WT/BK
[11] Passenger Door Spkr (+) LB/RD

The tweeters run in parallel off of the door speakers.... If I can help any more let me know.

Reverse the steps listed below. They are for connecting the sound bar.
1. Working from the rear of the monitor, attach the Soundbar aligning the two slots with the two tabs along the bottom rear of the monitor.
2. Slide the Soundbar to the left until it snaps into place.
3. Connect the Soundbar with the power brick.
4. Plug the power cables of the power brick into a nearby outlet.
5. Insert the lime-green mini stereo plug from the rear of the Soundbar into the computer's audio output jack.
NOTE: Soundbar Power Connector - 12V DC output is for optional Dell Soundbar only.
NOTICE: Do not use with any device other than Dell Soundbar.

you wont get sound out of hdmi,you also need to turn on external speakers in tv settings

It basically has an Optical input, or a coaxial input. Use whichever input is available for you from your TV digital output, to the soundbar. If it still doesn't work, the soundbar is probably damaged. For more information, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. Thank you.

Connect optical cable to soundbar and tv. Plug in the soundbar.
One gotcha -- the red light on the soundbar means the power is off. No light means the power is on.

1. Check the power cord is plugged in properly by removing it and replacing it. 2. Try a different outlet on the surge protector.3. Most surge protectors have a reset button, try resetting it.
Is the sound bar the only device plugged into the surge protector?

because your tv output is not of suffieient power to drive the soundbar. The soundbar needs to be hooked up to an amplifier that is being fed by your tv line out (or earphone output)

Note: Soundbar Power Connector - 12V DC output is for optional Dell Soundbar only. .
DO NOT USE WITH ANY DEVICE OTHER THAN DELL SOUNDBAR.

1. Working from the rear of the monitor, attach Soundbar by aligning the two slots with the two tabs along the bottom rear of the monitor.
2. Slide the Soundbar to the left until it snaps into the place.
3. Insert the black DC plug from the power cable at the back of the Soundbar into the DC Jack on the back of the Flat Panel Monitor.
4. Insert the lime green mini stereo plug from the rear of the Soundbar into the Computer's audio output jack.
